That’s what the Green movement does best: force feed us guilt. It’s all a clever marketing ruse that uses guilt as its vessel to sell products. “Not buying organic lettuce today sir? Yeah, have fun singlehandedly torching rainforests.”

This particular poem was written after returning from Israel. It was inspired by my 10 day love affair that took place while in the holy land. Each metaphor is symbolic of specific happenings that took place between he and I. “Going slightly mad” means falling in love for the first time.

It’s 2 a.m., and the “frenzy” of last call doesn’t seem to be settling very well in your stomach. Where will you ever find a civilized dining establishment to quell your drunken munchies and tomorrow’s hangover? Or are you doomed to “double down” at KFC? What follows is a solid list of late night options for those times when you’re drunkenly drawing a blank.

Back in January, news of the earthquake in Haiti saturated the media and sparked a never-before-seen utilization of social networking as a means of providing aid. If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of the millions of people who immediately donated to one organization or another in an effort to try and help. You’re also probably wondering where you’re money went and if anyone was actually helped by your donation. Time has passed, and most have all but forgotten the earthquake in Haiti and the complete and utter devastation it left behind. The country is in ruins and, not surprisingly, the relief we all thought we were contributing to is nowhere to be found.

It’s been brought to my attention that many of you kiddos face some struggles when it comes to the world of online shopping. Sure, those wooden clogs may look beautiful in a photo, but how do you know if they’re going to give you kankles in real life, or for that matter, run true to size?
